Chocolate Candy Cane Cookie. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Repeat with semisweet chocolate and remaining oil.
Slowly add the eggs, vanilla and peppermint extracts and salt and mix on low to combine. In a separate bowl, beat together the butter and both sugars until lightened and fluffy. Beat in the egg, and vanilla extract.
Shape dough into candy cane shape.
Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
Beat the mixture until it's a uniform pale yellow color. Store at room temp in a covered container. In a small bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt.
